A Better-Fitting Dog Harness for Australian Dogs
The WAGD Dog Harness is designed around proper fit, natural shoulder movement and long-term comfort. Unlike restrictive designs that sit across the shoulder joint or create throat pressure, this harness is y-shaped to support your dog’s body during real-life walks, training and adventures across Australia.

I can't get enough of the WAGD harness! My puppy (Edelweiss) is a little dirt and water gremlin, who loves to roll and cause as much mayhem as possible. This harness allows for her to get up to top speed in roomiest, its easy to clean and fast to dry when we've had a day of dirty fun, and it has so much padding that I was shocked when I first opened up the package it came in. The amount of padding is amazing, as she is learning not to pull. This harness is amazing and so affordable compared to others, especially when her last harness, a boring death trap of some kind, had no padding, was restrictive, she could escape easily from it and the d ring to clip onto would slide around constantly.
Thank you for helping us unlock our full potential!
Absolutely love these for our Doberman and our German Shepherd x!

A secure harness that also allows freedom of movement?? Amazing! My staffy Arlo looks so cute in the new blue colour and I love knowing that he feels way more comfortable not only with movement but also a harness that doesn't rub against his itchy skin areas!
The thought WAGD has put into this harness - from it's anatomically correct design, to how easy it is to put on, and how easy it is to clean - is unparalleled.
We've tried so many others and they were always too bulky, too restrictive, or an absolute nightmare to squeeze over our dog's head (Staffy things).
Never ever ever using any other harness. WAGD is the absolutely gold tier.
Oh, and not to mention the owner is a genuinely good person doing good things for good dogs. Every box ticked.
Our dog's favourite things in the world are 1. tug of war and 2. chewing the living daylights out of every single toy he's given as soon as possible. I'm happy to say he awards the Ball Tug Toy 5 stars for being a really good time and also for longevity. Over a month and still not destructed yet! 5 stars!
Plus now his fave toy matching his fave harness. He looks chic as heck.
Wonderfully engineered, easy to throw over your precious woofster, super padded and nice.
Willow loves her WAGD harness. It hasn’t completely solved a teenager Aussie Shepherds pulling but it’s a huge huge improvement over the previous unsupportive, restrictive throw over one she used before. It was an immediate difference from the first walkies. Two high five paws from Willow. The Axel Rose colour rocks harder than the gunners.
Instapic to follow when she allows me to capture her 😜
Always struggling to find harnesses that look good and fit right, and finally found it! The lining is soft, no pinching and the Y fit front sits low on the chest to prevent choking. Very happy with it! Would love if there was an option for an "escape proof" fit with an extra belly band, id ge that in a heartbeat!!
So glad I found WAGD (shared by our breeder) when preparing for the arrival of our new Cobber Dog puppy. Instead of wasting time and money on all the random harnesses, until finally finding THE ONE, I know I got the best from the start (which has also made training easier). I did make a sizing mistake and Carly was so helpful in working out the correct size and exchanging. We have a medium Cobber Dog and he’s wearing the size small on the tightest setting at 5 months, with plenty of room to grow. He looks so fancy! He spends a lot of time at the beach and the harness is washing and drying very well. So well, I got a second harness, so he can have one on and one drying (although it does dry really quick so this is maybe a little indulgent of me). I also got the long lead, which is so nice! No more gross soggy lead after the beach! And I find the length just right. I had a cheapy from Kmart to start with, but it was just too long! Also very impressed with how the clips and hardware are washing up and staying smooth on the collar and standard lead. Others seemed to rust or get clogged with sand really quickly. Thanks for good looking, quality products!
Obsessed with the harness, the design is so well thought out. The neck clip is sooo smart and convenient! Especially as our pooch recently had to wear a plastic cone after a surgery. Plus the padding ensures it’s comfortable. Love love LOVE 🙌🏻

I couldn’t recommend this harness more! As a veterinary physiotherapist, I love how well it supports the natural biomechanical movement of the dog- I recommend WAGD harnesses to all my clients!
Our dog trainer Hello Dog recommend WAGD Harness and the hand free lead we have had if for three weeks now and it is so good it fits perfect, easy to put on, my 7 month old Rottweiler wears it at the beach gets covered in sand and water and comes up clean and dries quickly it is great for loose lead walks and training we love it thank you for thinking of our fur babies to have something so comfy to wear
WAGD harnesses are our go to for our resident and foster dogs. Dogs slip into them so easily as the harness design has been well considered for dogs that have different sensory sensitivities. With the harnesses being easy for humans to maneuver as well, it keeps us in a calm mindset to lead the activity ahead. We don’t have to worry about hindering mobility as that has been well-considered too. We’ve bought one in every size so that no matter what doggo we are honored to care for, we know our adventures are well supported.
Hi I'm Carly
Dog Trainer since 2013

Founder, WAGD
After more than a decade working hands-on with dogs, I kept seeing the same thing: behaviour labelled as “naughty” when it was often discomfort.
Poorly designed harnesses:
Restricting shoulder movement.
Straps sitting on joints.
Pressure where it didn’t belong.
So I built something better.
WAGD was created to prioritise proper fit, natural movement, and everyday comfort.
Because if your dog wears it daily, it should move with them. Not against them.
All dogs are good dogs.
We just give them better kit.
