A Better-Fitting Dog Harness for Australian Dogs
The WAGD Dog Harness is designed around proper fit, natural shoulder movement and long-term comfort. Unlike restrictive designs that sit across the shoulder joint or create throat pressure, this harness is y-shaped to support your dog’s body during real-life walks, training and adventures across Australia.

Keith is a very wiggly boy who absolutely loves his walks, and I’ve honestly lost count of how many harnesses we’ve tried trying to get the fit right.
We’ve had ones that sat too close to his armpits, ones that were too loose around the neck, too tight around the chest, or the complete opposite. Even some really good, highly adjustable brands just never seemed to sit quite right on him.
We actually bought the smallest size originally and it was still too big. Carly refunded me straight away with no fuss at all and let me know they were working on smaller sizes. As soon as they came out, I bought one.
I’m really happy with it. It’s lightweight, feels really well made and has plenty of adjustment without sitting right up in his armpits, which was a big thing for me.
I also really like having both the front and back clip options. I use the front clip when Keith is distracted or we’re working on his loose lead walking, then once we get somewhere he can sniff and wander around, I switch him to the back clip with his long line. Because the back clip sits further down his back instead of close to his neck, the line seems to get tangled around his little legs a lot less.
We’ve used it on bush walks, by the river and in the car, and it dries reasonably quickly and doesn’t seem to hold onto dirt too badly.
The only little thing I noticed was that because Keith is such a light colour, some of the black rubbed onto his fur for the first couple of wears. It wasn’t a big issue and it didn’t keep happening.
I also found it a little confusing to put on the first few times because of the shape and clips, but once you work out how it sits, it becomes much easier.
This has been one of the best fitting harnesses we’ve found for Keith. After trying so many, it’s really nice to finally have one that feels secure, gives us different options depending on what we’re doing and still lets him move around comfortably.

This is a fantastic harness. Well designed, easy to put on and take off, and allows your dog to have free movement in the shoulders. Highly recommended.
Comfy & so kool!
I love the neck clip for ease of putting on, so does my doggo! Great amount of padding, easily adjustable, and sturdy when clipped on a lead. Really like the open shoulder for better movement and can see the difference when my dog runs. Also great to have both a back and front clip. This harness is full of functionality. Would absolutely recommend!!

Extremely helpful, we discussed sizes and shapes. This harness was exactly what I wanted! It's good quality and has all the right adjustments for a perfect fit 👌🏻 I got two, 10/10 would recommend.
Bertie the Bedlington has been an awkward fit with his body shape (skinny neck and large chest). The revised harness is a much better fit. He steps into it and the ability to adjust the chest works somehow!!
Thanks for thinking so hard about the design. He looks fabulous in Pink and receives many positive comments.
I accidentally left a store review instead of a product jobbie for Willows second WAGD harness (a girl needs at least two outfits right? The sensational orange has us crushing on its magnificence every time we go out and about in it. Wonderful bits of kit and see the other review for lyrics!
I wonder what our next colour purchase will be?
The WAGD harness is a great fit for Dusty, allowing him freedom of movement on our walks. We have tried many different harnesses and are happy to find one that finally fits him comfortably. No more chafed armpits. It's a quality harness, adjustable with lots of padding. Dusty looks so handsome while enjoying walks in his WAGD harness.
Really appreciate all the thoughtful details that have gone into the design of this harness, from the elastic to stop the ends of the straps from hanging out, to the extra clip around the neck for easy removal. So glad the size range was expanded so I could purchase one for my XXS pup!

I have used a number of harnesses for my Brittany. This is the best one by far. There is no compression on his shoulder joints and he had freedom to move.
High quality I would buy again.
Bright orange harness, I can see Millie from a mile away. She likes the harness as she can wiggle around in it and is not so confined to being in the harness. And it’s easy to put on, two clicks and it’s on,
Hi I'm Carly

After more than a decade working hands-on with dogs, I kept seeing the same thing: behaviour labelled as “naughty” when it was often discomfort.
Poorly designed harnesses:
Restricting shoulder movement.
Straps sitting on joints.
Pressure where it didn’t belong.
So I built something better.
WAGD was created to prioritise proper fit, natural movement, and everyday comfort.
Because if your dog wears it daily, it should move with them. Not against them.
All dogs are good dogs.
We just give them better kit.
