Goal…. Find a harness with no mesh cos Halo couldn’t help being born part red heeler meaning she moults like a mofo and we learnt very quickly a harness with any sort of mesh is a massive pain in the ass to keep clean and stop it from getting stinky 😫
Find a mesh free harness that’s also quick drying cos we have a four legged water baby on our hands. Another reason for the old fur covered harness getting stinky and needing super quick replacement 😂
Find a mesh free and less likely to stink harness that is cleverly designed to fit her staffy x heeler body properly!
According to Halo’s measurements she is a mix of both size small and medium but she’s only 7mths so figured play it safe and go medium just in case!
Medium is tightened on the smaller side and fits like a dream! So glad cos there’s plenty of room to adjust as she grows!

Absolutely fantastic harness! I'm I'm the UK and have tried so many harnesses trying to find one that worked for my reactive dog. He struggles with some discomfort after hip replacements and is very gear averse but he can also lunge and finding a harness that was a good fit, light weight and strong enough was so hard but WAGD tick all the boxes! He can move freely, the soft material doesn't mat his fur (which he hates!) And I know if he does have a reaction it is going to hold him and not hurt him or break! He now stands to have it put on and walks have become enjoyable again.

My lil staffy is a round gal with a big neck. I’ve tried many harnesses over the years and this is the best by far. The adjustability, comfort, and light-weight design are just *chef’s kiss*.

My kelpie X pup now runs to the door when it’s time for his walk & to put on his new WAGD harness. His old harness seemed uncomfortable & he hated wearing it, but now he’s moving so much better & bounding around the park at full speed. Couldn’t recommend the product or company more.

Got this for my 6 month old golden retriever puppy, and was hesitant with his rapid growing and the price, but it is the best harness I’ve ever used on any dog. I was researching after learning that the trainer across the chest design affects the dogs shoulders and walk and found Wagd with the Y design to work with their body. He actually enjoys wearing it over every other harness , it’s easy to put on, and I feel so much better knowing I’m protecting his joints

We are so pleased with Bug’s new WAGD Burgundy harness. Being a terrier X dachshund X chihuahua x gremlin, it is exceptionally hard to find a harness that fits her comfortably and also keeps her safe. Bug hates feeling things on her back and can be very gear shy so we have tried a lot of harnesses in her short life. Having the option of not placing things over her head or manhandling her paws along with the extra padding is a game changer for her and for me. When Bug isn’t comfortable she walks sideways (crab walking we call it) but I can say with her WAGD harness we have not had any crab imitations. It’s a beautiful colour, very well made, functional, ethical and safe for her joints. Given Bug has developed arthritis at a very young age (she’s not even 3 years old) her comfort and pain levels directly affect her quality of life. Pain and discomfort is immediately visible in Bug’s behaviour and knowing her harness doesn’t contribute to that is a big relief for us both. Walks are much more enjoyable because she doesn’t dislike wearing her harness (and this is a dog who stays firmly on lead given her propensity to try to join new families she likes the look of and inability to accept another dog may not like her). Bug’s harness is a necessity not just a “sometimes” bit of kit, it’s vital that she wears something that allows her joints a full range of motion. I am a bit of a harness connoisseur, and both my greyhounds have 10+ each. I’m always looking for the perfect one, and we’ve almost found it! I say almost, because I am desperately for a red and WAGD hasn’t got one… yet! The fit is perfect, even for my barrell-chested long boys - which a hard to find.
