We love our new olive green harness from WAGD. It is excellent quality and a great fit. My 4 month old pup had not worn a harness before but he was totally ok wearing it for the first time and beyond. Thank you for a great product.
Got this for my 6 month old golden retriever puppy, and was hesitant with his rapid growing and the price, but it is the best harness I’ve ever used on any dog. I was researching after learning that the trainer across the chest design affects the dogs shoulders and walk and found Wagd with the Y design to work with their body. He actually enjoys wearing it over every other harness , it’s easy to put on, and I feel so much better knowing I’m protecting his joints
Charlie absolutely loves his new harness and the freedom of movement he has 😊 plus it looks awesome!
We are so pleased with Bug’s new WAGD Burgundy harness. Being a terrier X dachshund X chihuahua x gremlin, it is exceptionally hard to find a harness that fits her comfortably and also keeps her safe. Bug hates feeling things on her back and can be very gear shy so we have tried a lot of harnesses in her short life. Having the option of not placing things over her head or manhandling her paws along with the extra padding is a game changer for her and for me. When Bug isn’t comfortable she walks sideways (crab walking we call it) but I can say with her WAGD harness we have not had any crab imitations. It’s a beautiful colour, very well made, functional, ethical and safe for her joints. Given Bug has developed arthritis at a very young age (she’s not even 3 years old) her comfort and pain levels directly affect her quality of life. Pain and discomfort is immediately visible in Bug’s behaviour and knowing her harness doesn’t contribute to that is a big relief for us both. Walks are much more enjoyable because she doesn’t dislike wearing her harness (and this is a dog who stays firmly on lead given her propensity to try to join new families she likes the look of and inability to accept another dog may not like her). Bug’s harness is a necessity not just a “sometimes” bit of kit, it’s vital that she wears something that allows her joints a full range of motion. Thank you Carly & Peanut for the countless hours of hard work to better the lives of dogs and their pet humans! We have recommended this harness to so many people and we will always support a brand that puts welfare first.
I am a bit of a harness connoisseur, and both my greyhounds have 10+ each. I’m always looking for the perfect one, and we’ve almost found it! I say almost, because I am desperately for a red and WAGD hasn’t got one… yet! The fit is perfect, even for my barrell-chested long boys - which a hard to find. Highly recommend and so happy to have a local Australian harness, as we normally have to buy from Europe.
My scottish terrier, Mackie, loves her new harness! It's comfortable, fits well and she now likes going for longer walks.
It's handsdown the best harness we've ever had.
Thank you.
Can't wait for matching collars to come out x
Absolutely love this harness! It fits my dog really well and is comfortable for her to wear. It’s easy to put on and take off, and it stays securely in place without restricting her movement. The quality feels really good, I love how sturdy it is and it’s well priced considering. She seems much more comfortable wearing this compared to other harnesses we’ve tried. Definitely recommend it! (Won’t buy another harness from anywhere else after discovering this one)
Dog is a 16.5kg border collie x kelpie puppy (6 months) wearing a size M.
Easily adjusted to about as small as it could go to fit her well and has plenty of room for her to grow into.
I’ve spent years looking for the right harness to recommend to my clients, all the good brands that don’t restrict shoulder movement look like you’re about to go camping or on a hike. But this is pretty, amazing colours, soft and spongy, machine washable AND doesn’t restrict shoulder movement and has a gap behind the elbow so no chaffing happens. I would like one in every colour please! Love love love, cannot recommend any higher. Just buy it.
Our border collie didn’t like other harnesses that had to be put over his head and would always run away from us when it was walk time. After some research, I bought the WAGD dog harness. I must say, this is the best dog harness we have ever owned. The quality is top notch, it unclips so you don’t have to squeeze it over their head. And it’s so comfortable for them to walk in.
So glad we found this harness! Makes our walks much more enjoyable.
I reached out to the human behind WAGD (I’m terrible with names, sorry!) after trying so many harnesses that either didn’t fit properly, slid around too much, or rubbed my terrier’s coat off. They were absolutely amazing and even provided photos of a similarly sized dog wearing the harness, including how it sits and holds up while the dog is moving.
We’ve now used it multiple times over the past week at the beach, in mud and for general terrier chaos, and I’m genuinely so impressed with it.
Our previous harness wasn’t padded, and if he suddenly jerked or ran into the end of his long line, it could be painful. He would sometimes yelp, which was incredibly distressing for both of us. The padding on this harness has completely changed that. He’s no longer hurting himself when he hits the end of the line, which is amazing, particularly for a dog already dealing with chronic pain, back pain and knee pain.
It has also held up brilliantly. There’s been no coat damage, even after beach trips, and it doesn’t slide around with the weight of a long line. It’s incredibly lightweight and adjustable, which is perfect for my weirdly proportioned little terrier.
Honestly, I even prefer it to our harness from a very popular Norwegian brand as it’s not adjustable and doesn’t fit right.
We’ll definitely be getting another one for our other dog too! ❤️
Love the purple harness and easy to fit the puppy.
WAGD Dog Harness
Keith is a very wiggly boy who absolutely loves his walks, and I’ve honestly lost count of how many harnesses we’ve tried trying to get the fit right.
We’ve had ones that sat too close to his armpits, ones that were too loose around the neck, too tight around the chest, or the complete opposite. Even some really good, highly adjustable brands just never seemed to sit quite right on him.
We actually bought the smallest size originally and it was still too big. Carly refunded me straight away with no fuss at all and let me know they were working on smaller sizes. As soon as they came out, I bought one.
I’m really happy with it. It’s lightweight, feels really well made and has plenty of adjustment without sitting right up in his armpits, which was a big thing for me.
I also really like having both the front and back clip options. I use the front clip when Keith is distracted or we’re working on his loose lead walking, then once we get somewhere he can sniff and wander around, I switch him to the back clip with his long line. Because the back clip sits further down his back instead of close to his neck, the line seems to get tangled around his little legs a lot less.
We’ve used it on bush walks, by the river and in the car, and it dries reasonably quickly and doesn’t seem to hold onto dirt too badly.
The only little thing I noticed was that because Keith is such a light colour, some of the black rubbed onto his fur for the first couple of wears. It wasn’t a big issue and it didn’t keep happening.
I also found it a little confusing to put on the first few times because of the shape and clips, but once you work out how it sits, it becomes much easier.
This has been one of the best fitting harnesses we’ve found for Keith. After trying so many, it’s really nice to finally have one that feels secure, gives us different options depending on what we’re doing and still lets him move around comfortably.
